UpBucks (“we”, “us”, “our”) respects your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, share, and protect information when you use our mobile application (the “App”). If you do not agree with this Privacy Policy, please do not use the App.

2) Information we collect
2.1 Information you provide
- Google Sign-In account data: when you sign in with Google, we receive limited profile information such as your Google account identifier, name, email address, and profile picture (if available).
- Support communications: messages you send to us (and any information you choose to share).
- Payout / reward delivery details: if you request rewards, we may collect what is needed to deliver them, such as your PayPal email or your email address for reward delivery.
2.2 Information collected automatically
- Device & technical data: device model, OS version, app version, language, time zone, network type, and diagnostics.
- Identifiers for ads/attribution: Android Advertising ID (and iOS IDFA where applicable/available), App Set ID (Google Play services), app instance identifiers, and SDK identifiers.
- Usage data: app opens, sessions, session duration, feature interactions, and performance events.
- Push notification token: a device token used to deliver push notifications (Firebase Cloud Messaging).
- Approximate location: country/region inferred from IP address or device settings. We do not require precise GPS for normal operation.
2.3 Information collected/processed by partners (third-party SDKs)
Advertising, offerwall/survey, analytics, and fraud-prevention partners may collect or receive information such as: advertising identifiers, device information, IP-derived country/region, click/event IDs, offer completion status, and fraud/risk signals (e.g., VPN/datacenter indicators), in accordance with their own privacy policies.
3) How we use your information
- Provide the App: authentication, account management, showing offers/surveys, tracking completions, calculating rewards, and delivering rewards.
- Rewards & payouts: processing PayPal payouts and/or delivering rewards via email.
- Security & fraud prevention: detecting abuse, duplicate accounts, automated behavior, suspicious traffic, and protecting the integrity of rewards.
- Analytics & improvement: understanding app performance, fixing bugs, improving features and stability.
- Communications: support responses and important service messages.
- Legal compliance: fulfilling legal obligations and responding to lawful requests.
4) Legal bases (EEA/UK and similar laws)
Where required (e.g., in the EEA/UK), we process personal data under one or more legal bases, such as: contract necessity (to provide the service), legitimate interests (security, fraud prevention, product improvement), consent (where required for certain advertising/measurement or permissions), and legal obligations.

5) Sharing and disclosure
We do not “sell” personal data for money in the ordinary sense. We may share information in these cases:
- Service providers (processors): hosting, analytics, crash/performance monitoring, email delivery, customer support tools.
- Offerwalls / surveys / ads partners: to attribute completions, prevent fraud, and confirm rewards (typically advertising ID/IDFA, App Set ID, device/SDK identifiers, IP-derived country, click/event IDs, completion status, and risk signals).
- Payments: PayPal may process payout-related information as needed to complete withdrawals.
- Legal/safety: to comply with law, protect rights, and prevent abuse.

Each partner processes data under its own privacy policy. When required by law, we present consent/choices before enabling certain advertising or measurement features.
7) Advertising, attribution, and opt-out choices
UpBucks may show ads/offers and use device identifiers for attribution, measurement, frequency capping, and fraud prevention. You can manage ad personalization and limit/reset your advertising identifier through Google:

8) Google Sign-In
You may sign in using Google. When you do, we receive limited information from Google (such as your email and a Google account identifier) to authenticate you and maintain your account. Google’s privacy information: https://policies.google.com/privacy
9) Payments and reward delivery
If you request a payout via PayPal, PayPal processes the transaction under its own privacy policy: PayPal Privacy Statement.
If rewards are delivered via email, we use your email address to deliver rewards and communicate about delivery, account, and support requests.
10) Push notifications
We may send push notifications about rewards, account status, and service updates. You can disable notifications in your device settings. Disabling notifications may reduce certain features.
11) Data retention
We retain personal data only as long as necessary for the purposes described above, including:
- Account data: while your account is active.
- Rewards and withdrawal records: for compliance, fraud prevention, and dispute handling (some records may be retained after deletion if legally required).
- Security/fraud logs: for a limited period to prevent abuse and protect the platform.
- Analytics data: according to operational needs and provider settings.
12) International transfers

We do not sell personal information for money. However, under some laws, certain disclosures to advertising/measurement partners may be considered “sharing” for targeted advertising. You can opt out by contacting us (see Section 14).
13.3 Other regions (LGPD, PIPEDA, APPI, etc.)
Users in other jurisdictions may have similar rights under local laws. We apply a consistent approach: access, correction, deletion, and objection/withdrawal requests can be made via the contact details below.

- Any relevant details to help us locate your account (optional)
We aim to respond promptly and, where applicable, within one month. We may retain limited information where required by law, for security/fraud prevention, or to resolve disputes.

16) Security
We use reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect your information. However, no system is 100% secure.
17) Changes to this Privacy Policy
We may update this policy from time to time. We will post the updated policy here and update the “Last updated” date.
